Weekly Menu 10.28.18

BOOOOO: Our Weekly Menu 10.28.18 includes a Halloween Dinner for a fun weeknight at home, hoping for Trick or Treaters.

Our house is on a little block – there are only six houses on both sides of the street – so we get very few visitors, sadly. Luckily we have single handedly tasted all possible combinations of treats in the weeks leading up to Halloween, so we can say without modesty we’ve got the candy spectrum covered.

I don’t care how old you are, either – you’re welcome at our door.

And I might be dressed like this:

Black and white pic of witch

I love Halloween.

We’ve got a lot going on this week in the menu – we’re trying a new appetizer (how bad can Bacon Crackers be?) and gearing up for an easy at home Halloween Dinner.

Polar Bear Paws are a fun, easy treat for Sunday, and they aren’t hard to make.

The Pot Roast Sliders for Saturday are made with the leftovers from the Mississippi Pot Roast we’re having on Sunday, but there is too much of a lull between cookings, so put the leftovers in the freezer after dinner on Sunday and thaw them on Saturday. The cornbread croutons are a real treat too. They make a dinner salad super fun.
