Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F.
Sprinkle half the ranch dressing mix on the chicken. (About 1-1/2 teaspoons). Mix well.
Wrap each piece of chicken with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Continue until all chicken is wrapped. Place skewers on a rack inside a baking sheet or a broiler pan. They can be placed directly on the baking sheet if need. (See below.)

Meanwhile, combine remaining Ranch Dressing Mix with mayo and buttermilk. When well mixed, put in serving dish.
Remove Chicken Bacon Ranch Skewers from oven when bacon is crispy and browned uniformly, after about 10 minutes. If preparing without a rack, turn each skewer over after about 5 minutes. An instant read thermometer inserted in the center of the skewer should read at least 160 degrees F.
Serve immediately with ranch dressing.
