These little bites are perfect with a glass of wine before dinner. They are elegant and fast to put together.

- 1/2 loaf French bread
- 1/4 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp Half and half and half or cream
- 1 tsp Honey, plus honey for drizzling
Toppings
- Fresh or frozen berries
- Walnuts in syrup
- Jam
- Sliced apples, pears, plums
- Pistachios
- Blue cheese crumbles
- Sharp cheddar slices
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Slice bread into rounds and place on sprayed cookie sheet. Toast, turning once, until bread is uniformly brown.
Mix ricotta cheese with half and half and honey in a small bowl.
Spread each round with ricotta cheese and add toppings. Drizzle honey over all crostini.
Mix or match toppings or go with one on all the crostini. Plan on three crostini per person.
