Crammed Weekly Menu 06.23.19 Looks Like a Plan!

The Weekly Menu 06.23.19 helps you plan the whole week so you know what’s for dinner – every night.

I’m not much of a car buff, but I do have a fascination with the older, boxier, smaller cars. This one made me think of summertime and car trips. We usually road tripped in station wagons way back in the day, which is probably why the cute little cars (VW Bug anyone?) looked like so much fun. My little sister and I always got the “way back” which was motion-sickness inducing at the best of times. Throw in a couple of adults smoking with the windows sealed shut and all bets were off.

We did watch our suitcase hit the highway once.

Our boys are stellar road-trippers. Of course, things are a little different now, with super-highways and I-pads. They’ll never understand the terror their mother experienced when Papa passed 17 cars on a two lane highway.

The Weekly Menu 06.23.19 is full of recipes that could be set aside at any time for a fun trip – anywhere! Niagara Falls anyone?

We’re using the grill (affiliate link) of course, but we’re having a couple of easy pantry meals. Bert will be out of town on Tuesday, so the menu includes a throwback to when the boys were little – cheese ravioli in chicken broth. Once it’s cooked, we shave on some Parmesan and decorate with a little green onion. Voila! Dinner in 15 minutes.

Weekly Menu 06.23.19 pretends everyone likes fish.

Which is obviously not the case. We’ll add some frozen boxed burgers for those that aren’t feeling the frozen boxed salmon burgers on Friday. That’s kind of how we meal – the Mango Salsa on Sunday isn’t universally adored – so I serve it on the side.
